Trading on FXON is done using MetaTrader, and on Windows devices, you can start trading with MT5 for Windows, the successor to MT4, which offers an enhanced and seamless trading environment. Additionally, dozens of FXON's exclusive indicators are pre-installed.
Customers with a trading account can trade in 3 steps: download, install, and login.
1. Before Installing MetaTrader 5
MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is a next-generation platform that offers high-speed processing and further functionality as an evolved version of MetaTrader 4 (MT4). With a PC that meets the recommended specifications, you will be able to fully utilize MT5's capabilities.

Please make sure that your device meets these requirements.
Recommended environment
The standard environment for installing MT5 is a standard PC from the late 2010s to the early 2020s, when Core i3 series 2.0GHz or higher specifications began to become popular.
However, a more advanced environment may be required if you work with more than ten chart windows or run multiple EAs simultaneously.
In order to log in with MT5, you will also need to open an MT5 account with FXON. Please confirm the login information that will be sent to your registered e-mail address after the account opening is completed before proceeding with the following operations.
Find the file named “fxon5setup.exe” and double-click it.
4. Accept the App
If the security feature “User Account Control (UAC)” is enabled on your PC, administrator-level permission will be required to prevent unauthorized changes.
At this point, click “Yes” to proceed.
5. Confirm the Terms of License Agreement
The license agreement will be displayed. Confirm the contents and click “Next”.
6. Installation Complete
When the MT5 installation is complete, you will see “Congratulations! We are waiting for you…” will be displayed. Confirm the display and click “Finish”.
After the installation, a website called “MQL5 Community”, operated by MetaQuotes, will be displayed automatically in your browser. You may close the window.
Purpose of Use for MQL5 Community
MQL5 community offers a variety of functionalities. For example, users can purchase or freely obtain custom indicators and EAs (automated trading programs), distribute their trades as signals, engage in copy trading by subscribing to signals from other traders, as well as request tool development from certified freelance developers.
7. Launch MetaTrader 5
When installation is complete, MT5 will automatically start and a pop-up will appear as shown in the screen below. On the pop-up, click “Next” with FXON selected.
8. Log in to Trading Account
After selecting the “Connect with an existing trade account", enter your login information and click the “Finish” button.
Enter your login ID
Enter your password. While you can log in using a read-only password, trading operations will not be available in that case.
Your trading server, ID, and password will be sent to your registered email address upon completing the account opening. Please check your email. If you are unsure of your login details, please refer to the following links.
If the login window does not appear, you can right-click “Accounts” on the left side of the screen and click “Login to Trade Account” as shown in the image below.
9. Login Complete
Upon successful login, the quotes for each instrument and chart will start updating.In addition to built-in indicators in the MT5, our custom indicators will be also available as shown in the image below.
Detailed instructions for operating MT5 are provided in the user guide. You can check the steps not only through text but also via videos and images.
You can also check whether the login was successful or not from the status bar in the lower right corner. If the login was successful, a green bar graph will be displayed.
If the login information is incorrect, a red blocking icon will be displayed. If there is a problem with the communication environment, a loading symbol will be displayed. In this case, please check your login information and network environment, respectively.
