Only position closing is available in the "Position Management" section of the FXON Portal. If you are unable to close a position, the possible causes are as follows.

  • Outside trading hours・Market close (Market Holidays)
  • Requotes (New price offered)
  • Communication failure
  • Slippage (Impact of price fluctuations)

The causes and solutions are explained below. Please check them and try closing the position again or perform the closing via MT4/MT5.

Outside trading hours・Market close (Market Holidays)

The FX market is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and trading and settlement are not available during these days. CFDs have different trading hours for each product.
Check the trading hours for each product and settle when the market is open. You can check the trading hours for CFD products below.
Please refer to the URL below for CFD trading conditions.

Requotes (New price offered)

In the event of sudden market fluctuation, the settlement may not be able to keep up with the market fluctuation and requotes occur (New price offered).
Please check the price fluctuations and try closing the position via MT4/MT5. If you are still unable to settle, please wait until the price fluctuations have settled and then try closing the position again.

Communication failure

There may be a communication failure between FXON Portal and MT server, or broker side.
Check your internet connection, reconnect in a stable environment, and try closing the position via MT4/MT5.
You can check the FXON latest news page for information about system failures.

Slippage (Impact of price fluctuations)

Rapid price fluctuations may cause a difference between your requested price and the actual execution price. If the current price differs by more than 20 points, the settlement may not be possible.
Please try closing your position via MT4/MT5. However, if it does not go through, wait for price fluctuations to stabilize and try again.
In addition, please plan your trades carefully during periods of high volatility, such as news events.
