The MetaTrader 4(MT4)/MetaTrader 5(MT5) master and read-only passwords can be changed to your preferred password or reset if you forget them on the FXON Portal. Your new password will not be included in the email sent to you after the password change. Please be sure to remember the new password.
1. Trading account list
After logging in to the FXON Portal, click (1) Account Management > (2) Trading Account List.

2. Password change (i)
Click (1) the down arrow to the right of the account whose password you want to change. Click (2) Account operations > Change password.

3. Password change (ii)
The password change window will open. Enter the (1) new master password or (2) new read-only password, and click (3) "Change".

Your password must be between 8 and 15 characters, comprising both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. The updated password will take effect the next time you log in to MT4/MT5.
4. Confirmation window
The confirmation window will open. To proceed with the process, click "Change".

5. Password has been changed
The message "Your password has been changed. The changed password will be effective from the next time you log in to MetaTrader" will appear. Click Close to complete the process.

6. Password change notification
The following email will be sent to your email address.
