MetaTrader4 (MT4) and MetaTrader5 (MT5) are both trading platforms developed by MetaQuotes.

MT4 has gained high support as the platform with the most users worldwide for many years since it equipped a wide range of custom indicators and EA (Expert Advisor), it is still widely used as a major trading platform today.

MT5 has improved processing speed and significantly enhanced trading functions. It supports more time frames and order types, and allows to operate multiple positions all at once. In addition, it is now possible to display charts in multiple windows (separate windows) and allows to build a trading environment that utilizes multiple monitors, it surpasses MT4 in terms of basic functions and performance.
